STACEY LUI – BOSS LADY
Stacey is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background spanning the tourism, education, and construction industries.
After completing a Double Diploma in Tourism and Event Management in Brisbane, which launched her career in the travel industry, Stacey spent the next six years refining her client relations and organisational skills in the domestic and international travel markets, working for Peregrine Adventures and Emirates Airlines.
Upon moving to Far North Queensland with her family, Stacey’s career shifted towards the public service, where she worked for the FNQ Department of Education and Training and Cairns Regional Council in various roles. Here, she developed a wealth of knowledge relating to the vocational education and training sector and assisted many small businesses with workforce development strategies.
Stacey continued her professional development by completing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Certificate III in Micro Business Operations. She then pursued a teaching role with TAFE Queensland, where she was responsible for developing course content and delivering qualifications ranging from Certificate II through to Diploma level in Travel and Tourism.
A firm believer in continuous learning, Stacey recently reinforced her construction knowledge by completing a Certificate IV in Construction Estimating and is currently undertaking a Certificate IV in Accounting.
Known affectionately as the ‘Boss Lady,’ Stacey leads Strait Support’s administrative tasks, overseeing recruitment, contract management, accounting, marketing, and public relations. Her enthusiastic personality, commitment to excellent customer service, and go-getter attitude are vital to the success of the business.
Stacey is dedicated to building strong relationships with clients, staff, and the community, driving Strait Support’s vision to improve outcomes for Indigenous communities through construction and employment opportunities.
